Description
This Quick Guide runs through the Global UI to help the user find things more efficiently and know the status of the system. Details of each section will be given below.
The Overview
- This section contains all of the top level menus in HELIOS.
- Mapping - when the user arranges the LED tiles on the canvas to display the correct portion of the video.
- Seams - Also known as gap correction, this menu allows the user to fix alignment issues between tiles or modules. The user can make the seams brighter if they are too far apart or dimmer if they are too close together.
- Adjustments - This menu gives the user the ability to change the RGB gains of individual modules to account for age differences between modules.
- Input - In here, all things relating to setting up the input can be found. From picking the desired source to scaling and cropping.
- Output - These are sophisticated tools to manage and control color for the system.
- GhostFrame (or Camera) - The on-camera toolkit that allows the user to maximize the performance of LED tiles on-camera.
- Devices - A graphical view of the system and connection points between the components. The user will find a lot of useful data for all connected devices here.
- Health - Menu that shows the user active alerts, a heat map of the system, and many system reports for download.
- Settings - System level settings are found here. Highlights include the Still stores, Scheduler, and many others.
- Preview - A low resolution preview of the incoming video sources.
- The Status Indicators on the top right of any page give the user quick insight into the system status. It shows things like what source, sync, and redundancy status.
- The Global Controls are used to control the entire system simultaneously. For example, global brightness, test patterns, and still stores are found here.
